County students ages 11 to 18 can register to participate in the event, which is being held by the county's Police Athletic League and Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, which maintains the reservoir. The day will end with an ice skating session at the Bowie Ice Rink.

Students can earn five service learning hours (community service hours) after completing the beautification project.
