Some cases are not included at all due to ongoing investigations.   July 16 th :   4700 block of 30 th Street : Assault – 10:35pm. Officers on patrol observed a large group of juveniles fighting. When the officers stopped to intervene the group disbursed. One of the participants was found lying on the ground unconscious. EMS responded and transported the individual, along with his mother who was also at the scene, to Children’s Hospital for medical treatment.   3100 block of Queens Chapel Road : Stolen vehicle – 12:10pm. The owner of a 2005 Chrysler 300 told officers that she parked her vehicle in the parking lot at about 2am

July 9 th : One Municipal Place : Criminal citation – 10:40am. Officers issued a man a criminal citation for drinking in public. 3000 block of Buchanan Street : Destruction of property – 12:05pm. The victim told officers that she and her baby’s father had several people over to their apartment last night. Some of their guests got drunk and out of hand. At about 1am someone broke two windows from the inside of her apartment, one in the living room area and one in the bedroom. She could not advise who did it. 3300 block of Rhode Island Avenue : Vehicle impound – 2

July 2 nd : 3400 block of Eastern Avenue : Warrant service – 2:55am. Officers responded for the report of an unwanted guest. Officers found the man in question in the backyard trying to hide in a shed. Further investigation revealed that he had an open arrest warrant through Montgomery County for failure to appear in court. He was arrested on the warrant and delivered to the custody of DOC in Hyattsville. 4300 block of 31 st Street : Vandalism to auto – 7:45am.
