3200 block of Queenstown Drive: At about 8:45 am officers issued a man a criminal citation for trespassing. He was sent on his way without further incident.
4600 block of 29th Street: At about 6:15 pm officers responded for the report of a man with a knife. When they arrived they observed a man coming out of an apartment building with stab wounds to his neck and left arm. They also observed him to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. When the officers approached to assist him he became very verbally combative towards the officers and refused assistance. He greeted fire/rescue personnel with the same attitude and refused their assistance as well. Due to the nature of the man’s injuries he was taken into custody and transported to MedStar for treatment and an emergency psychological evaluation. Due to his unwillingness to speak with the officers they were unable to determine how he sustained his injuries.
2400 block of Varnum Street: At about 10:50 pm officers issued a man a criminal citation for possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
