Prince George's Gov't Closed Christmas Day

Prince George's County government offices will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015 in observance of the Christmas holiday. This closing includes:

·         Animal Services Facility - (3750 Brown Station Road)

·         Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill

·         Brown Station Road Public Convenience Center

·         Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site (Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill)

·         Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site (Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill)

·         Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site (Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill)

·         Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center

·         Prince George's County Yard Waste Composting Facility

·         Prince George's County Materials Recycling Facility (MRF)

·         Bulky Trash Collection (By appointment only)

·         Trash Collection in County Contracted Areas

·         Curbside Recycling Collection

The Bus, will not operate on Friday, December 25, 2015.  Regular operations of The Bus will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015. In addition, the County's Para-Transit and Call-A-Bus service will not operate on Friday, December 25, 2015. Normal operations of the Para-transit services and Call-A-Bus will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015. 

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015.

In addition, Prince George's CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015 and will return to normal operations on Monday, December 28, 2015.  However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/

Most of these remote entry devices have a panic button that activates your vehicle’s security alarm system. Test it. It will activate from almost anywhere inside your house and will keep honking and flashing the lights until either your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the remote entry fob.
