3200 block of Queens Chapel Road: At about 12:30 am officers observed vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and effected a traffic stop on the vehicle. After failing standard sobriety tests the driver was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested.
3100 block of Taylor Street: At about 9:30 pm officers responded for the report of a strong arm robbery. The victim told the officers that while unloading parcels from her vehicle she was approached by two males wearing all black clothing including black ski masks. One of the males placed a cold object against her neck implying a weapon and demanded her money. No weapons were observed. The second male took the victim’s purse, and both fled on foot towards Rainier Avenue. A canvass of the area for the two proved negative. PGPD CID/Robbery unit was notified and will handle the follow-up investigation.
