4700 block of 30th Street: Vehicle impound - 10:50 am. Officers responded for the report of an illegally parked vehicle. The officers located the vehicle in question and determined that its registration plates had expired in June of 2010. The vehicle was cited and impounded.
3700 block of 37th Street: Residential burglary - 12:45 pm. Officers responded for the report of a burglary that had just occurred. When they arrived they discovered that the side door to the residence had been kicked open. Further investigation revealed that two individuals forced their way into the home, ransacked several rooms and stole two TVs. The suspects loaded the television sets into a vehicle witnesses described as a mid-90s 4-door Buick, dark gray or black with dark tinted windows and a rag covering the rear tag. Suspect number one was described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, 6’ tall, medium build wearing a gray jacket and dark pants. The second suspect was described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, 5’8” tall wearing a red jacket with black pants and blue shorts over the pants. The suspects were last seen leaving the area west on 37th Street towards Perry Street.
