It would help if you post speed limit signs on Rhode Island Avenue southbound to indicate 25MPH Zone ahead and improve the speed limit warning signs or other physical indications of a School Zone ahead. The most prominent Speed Limit sign is a 35 MPH sign at 4404 RI Ave and then none after that until a 25MPH a half block after 37th Street intersection and beyond the school. This is a dangerous situation as the signs are inadequate to warn motorists of the School Zone till after they pass through it.

Please check the speed limit signs before the 37th street intersection on Rhode Island Ave. Southbound. I only saw a 35 MPH sign at 4404 RI Ave and then didn't see the 25MPH sign until a half block below 37th street (southbound) after passing through the school zone. There should be clearer signs or street markings warning motorists of a school zone ahead as it is a very unsafe situation to have 35MPH signs and then none following that until you are beyond the intersection and the school. Thank you for your attention to this potential safety issue.
