February 2nd:
2700 block of Queens Chapel Road: Unauthorized use of a M/V - 6:00pm. Officers conducted a follow up to the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle reported on February 1st at 10 pm. The mother of the juvenile told the officers that her son returned her vehicle and she did not wish to pursue charges against him.
3100 block of Queens Chapel Road: Fight - 2:43 pm. A woman came into the police station to report that her son was involved in a fight with another juvenile after school. The fight occurred at their normal bus stop after they got off the school bus. The incident is considered a school incident and was referred to school authorities for their intervention.
February 3rd (early morning):
2700 block of Queens Chapel Road: Warrant arrest - 4:45 am. Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding and running a stop sign. Further investigation revealed that a passenger in the vehicle had an open arrest warrant through Prince George’s County for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving on a suspended license. He was arrested on the warrant and delivered to the custody of DOC in Hyattsville. The driver was issued multiple citations and released.
